Accountable Christian service
Britain for Christ is developing as a Christian ministry initiative intended to encourage Gospel witness, prayer, discipleship, church connection and cooperation across Britain.
The website is not designed to replace the authority, governance or pastoral responsibility of local churches. Directory inclusion is not an endorsement, accreditation or guarantee of the doctrine, safeguarding practice, governance or current status of any listed church.
How we work
Key controls
Review before publication
Church corrections, events and testimonies submitted through the website are not automatically published. They are prepared as email requests for review.
Corrections
Church leaders or members can request corrections or removal of a listing. Where appropriate, official public evidence should be provided.
No implied endorsement
Listing a church, event, organisation or external resource does not by itself mean Britain for Christ endorses every belief, statement, activity or practice associated with it.
Responsible content
Resources aim to remain centred on Jesus Christ and Holy Scripture while recognising that Christian traditions may differ on secondary matters.
Escalation
Potential safeguarding, privacy, legal or serious factual concerns should be prioritised for review rather than treated as ordinary directory edits.
Directory transparency
The current public directory contains 2,006 UK church entries. A listing can include the church name, location, denomination/network, public website or official directory link, and explicitly documented community/language information.
Report a concern
If you believe information is inaccurate, inappropriate or should not appear publicly, use the Contact Hub or Add/Correct a Church page.
Legal ownership
Intellectual property and ownership
The website identifies Sukhdip Parvez as its named author and project owner. Copyright claims are limited to original material and rights legally held; third-party rights remain with their respective owners.
Editorial integrity
Biblical Evidence Standard
Britain for Christ aims to distinguish biblical teaching from personal opinion, emotional language and speculation. Major doctrinal claims should be supported by relevant Scripture references and interpreted in context.
Context before quotation
We should read surrounding verses and the purpose of the biblical book before applying a text.

Whole-Bible consistency
Doctrine should be formed from the wider witness of Scripture rather than isolated proof-texts.

Promises handled carefully
We should not present every biblical promise as an unconditional individual guarantee when the text does not do so.

Translation remains accountable to Scripture
Language access should improve understanding without changing doctrine. Translated explanatory pages are identified as original Britain for Christ wording, Bible passages are referenced for readers to verify, and corrections from fluent Christian readers are welcomed.

Britain for Christ can help visitors find useful external Christian resources without pretending that every linked ministry, preacher, song or search result has been doctrinally approved.

Historic Christian breadth
Core teaching remains Trinitarian and centred on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Where historic Christian traditions differ on secondary questions, the AI should identify the difference rather than manufacture consensus.

Safety and human care
