Accessibility & reading preferences
Britain for Christ should be usable by people with different devices, vision, movement, reading needs and assistive technologies. These controls change only this browser and do not create an account.
Adjust the website
Choose any combination. Preferences are stored locally in your browser and can be reset at any time.
Accessibility by design
Keyboard access: a skip link moves directly to main content, interactive elements use visible focus styles and the mobile menu can be closed with Escape.
Semantic structure: pages use headings, navigation, main content, forms, labels and descriptive links to support screen-reader navigation.
Responsive design: layouts adapt to smaller screens and zoom rather than requiring a desktop-width view.
Colour and status: important meaning should not depend on colour alone; directory statuses include text labels.
Motion: the website respects the device-level prefers-reduced-motion setting as well as the local control above.
Local privacy: accessibility settings and discipleship progress are stored in the visitor's browser rather than sent to Britain for Christ.

Global gateway accessibility
The resource gateway has been designed so worldwide discovery does not depend only on a mouse, small text or fluent English.
